Gracias College Web Guy

College Web Guy's right. What he knows is that it all starts with having something to say. What he doesn't know is that I've been struggling lately. No worse, discouraged (anyone get that movie reference?)

For the past couple of weeks I've been trying to plan for what seems a monumental task - having great copy ready for launch. Our partners at mStoner are writing some fabulous copy but W&M web writers will have to produce some too. College Web Guy, without realizing it, your words have encouraged me. Thanks!

This blog is great. I like that the students are involved in building the new website.

I am a high school senior who was accepted under early decision, and I just recently received my user ID and logged into myWM (which is why I came across this blog again). I also saw the campus photo gallery under the myWM Home tab and browsed through over 150 wonderful photos of the campus. I wish these photos had been available earlier. As someone who recently went through the application process, I know that pictures provide a lot of appeal and illustrate the campus vibe. That's why my only recommendation for the website is some kind of photo album, or "week in review" that is accessible from the www.wm.edu homepage(like on the UVA website).

W&M has such a beautiful and active campus that I know more photos would make the website and the school even more appealing.

Thank you
