RFP for Phase One Nearly Ready to Advertise

The College will engage web information architecture and design experts to assist us with phase one of the re.web project. Due to the careful and thoughtful review of the draft RFP document by the web advisory committee and some quick and excellent work by Sandra Eatmon in W&M Procurement, we expect to post the Request for Proposal by May 1, 2007!

If I'd Known Then What I Know Now...

Andrea Sardone is the Director of Marketing Communications for the School of Business and she was the point person for the launch of their new web presence in September 2006. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to hear the gems and challenges of web redesign with someone who has recently lived it!

We look forward to engaging Andrea in the broader W&M web presence and appreciate her expertise and experience.

First Meeting of the W&M Web Redesign Advisory Committee

The first meeting of the W&M Web Redesign Advisory Committee is tentatively planned for Wednesday, April 18. Agenda items for the meeting include:

• project communication
• opinion surveys for faculty, staff, and students
• project scope
• update on pre-planning activities
• web consultants
