I'm pretty sure this isn't the right place for it but I couldn't find an email address to send in my questions.
Will the new website include a reworked my.wm.edu or is this purely www.wm.edu?
Are there plans to update the webmail? It seems rather archaic compared to some of the features freely available on services like gmail and the like.
I know some colleges are in fact investigating the possibility of using Google Apps Education Edition to replace their e-mail systems. If you plan on updating the webmail service are services such as this being looked at?

Hi Tim, No apologies needed - we're glad for your comment because it confirms we have some readership.
Your question about myWM is a good one. As you know we currently have a separate login site for the campus portal at http://my.wm.edu. We are already thinking about whether or not this will be needed. Many schools have a login box for their campus portal on their home page. What are your thoughts about this?
So you know, myWM is built with a purchased product called Luminis so we don't have complete control over the look once you log in. But perhaps we'll change our color scheme there a little to match the new W&M look?? Would like to hear what you think about the services and features in myWM.
Re W&M webmail and some colleges' transition to gmail ... I'll send you an email about that.

I fully support moving the login to the main website. Hardly anyone I know ever visits the main website. If the login was there, news and other important information could be placed their making it a more central hub of information on the school without having a lot of duplication of info.
